Balance & Belonging: For Fans of Avatar: The Last Airbender
This 12-week Bi-weekly therapy group is designed for adults who connect with the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender and want to explore their own emotional journeys through its powerful themes of identity, balance, grief, trauma, and transformation. Each session weaves together guided discussion, short media clips, mindfulness practices, and evidence-based therapeutic tools (CBT, DBT, and parts work) inspired by the characters and elements of the Avatar universe.
Groups are limited to 8 participants to ensure a safe, supportive environment for sharing and reflection. Each week will center on a specific them such as emotional regulation (Water), boundaries (Earth), anger and identity (Fire), or mindfulness and detachment (Air), using iconic moments from the series to spark insight and personal growth.
Whether you see yourself in Zuko’s struggle for redemption, Toph’s fierce independence, or Aang’s pursuit of peace, this group offers a unique space to connect, reflect, and heal together.
